We're back and it's the start of a new Wedding season. My first location this year is the Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst, Illinois. This historic house sits right next door to the Elmhurst College campus. It's a very interesting setting for a wedding reception. For the couple we met with their entrance was on the stairs. The cocktail hour and dancing was on the ground floor in a small section of the house. Finally, the dinner was upstairs. Weird setup but really effective. For the starter course it was a traditional salad. Then for the main course it comes with chicken, red potatoes, and some beef. The food came from a caterer. We brought in our lighted booth which came in handy plus will be the main feature this year. A really fantastic night indeed in a really historic place. Congratulations Brian and Heather!
